Job Description

Work mode :WFH (Tax department visits in Mumbai) / WFO in future

Qualifications:

  • Semi Qualified CA / CA dropped / Master’s degree in accounting, Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with clients in a client-facing role.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities Required:

As a Client-Facing Specialist at AKM Global, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' tax compliance needs are met while providing exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Client Interaction

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Understanding clients' unique tax challenges and providing tailored solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and addressing client queries and concerns.

Tax Compliance

  • Advising clients on tax regulatory requirements, changes, and implications. It includes Income Tax, TDS Provisions, GST, Payroll Compliances, Companies Law, RBI.
  • Assisting clients in preparing tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conducting research to stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Preparing comprehensive Management Report and other auxiliary report and documentation as per the client requirement.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Compliance Audits

  • Assisting clients in preparing for tax audits and representing them during the process.

Team Collaboration

  • Working closely with our tax team to provide holistic tax services to clients.
  • Sharing insights and updates on tax regulations within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Internal Audit of wide range of companies like Manufacturing, Real estate, FMCG, Pharma, etc.
  • Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of experience or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of experience

Responsibilities Required:

  • Participate in activities such as execution of the detailed programs for audits, review of financial, operational, compliance and risk systems, processes, and procedures to determine efficiency, effectiveness and alignment with internal policies, procedures, regulations and industry standards.
  • To ensure timely conduct of the audit and submitting the audit findings.
  • Develop an understanding of the function to be audited and use business knowledge, analytical skills, and experience in identifying findings and improvements.
  • To perform various audits for Sales, Marketing, Purchases, Finance, HR, Inventory, Production, Statutory and Labour Compliances, etc.
  • Assisting in preparing the audit reports as per the audit findings, providing corrective actions and improvement plans.
  • Discussion of audit reports with the auditee and closure.
  • Drafting and testing of Internal Financial Control documentation and suggesting measures for better internal controls.
